The 1600I was developed with the aid of top professional players including lead artist Roger Ingram (lead trumpet with the orchestra's of Harry Connick Jr., Maynard Ferguson, Jazz at Lincoln Center & Ray Charles! www.rogeringram.com), the 1600I makes a sweeping statement about lead playing in ensembles of all sizes and styles. Featuring a .453" medium bore, custom B1 designed bell with heavy bead and a 2 piece valve casing with nickel-silver balusters. The combination of these features create an instrument with exceptional dispersion, clarity and tone. Jupiter's XO professional trumpets offer the customer some of the best values available on the market today. All XO professional trumpets feature old world craftsmanship and specifications (such as a 2 piece valve casing) and combine them with modern deign, intonation and quality. The end result is a trumpet that gives the player superior performance but at a price that is less than the competition.
