Vincent Bach Stradivarius , a.k.a Bach Strad , Trumpets are among the most respected and well known professional trumpets to date. Bach Strad Trumpets can be found in the hands of some of the best players in the world in every venue. Born from a rich tradition of Trumpet-making, the Bach Strad trumpets are always a safe bet for guaranteed quality and performance.

Recently, it was well publicized that the Bach factory was on strike. Many people claim that Bach's parent company (Conn-Selmer, Inc.) was doing this to save money and to export production of Bach trumpets overseas. The truth is that yes, there was a strike at the Bach factory. However, the factory is back in production and Bach Strad trumpets are still 100% made in the USA in Elkhart, Indiana (model 182 is 100% made in Eastlake, Ohio).

Bach has improved their build quality standards and manufacturing techniques and are now once again making one of the best trumpets, consistently, in the world. We challenge you to try the new Bach Stradivarius trumpets. You will be blown away! I (Dave Kessler) was at the Bach factory in June of 2007 and can personally tell you about the changes that they have made. For example, Bach has returned to the traditional Bell Bow bend design that was used originally by Bach. Take a look for yourself. Here are pictures of 2 different LT180S-72 models. The first was made in 2003 and the second came in to my shop November 1, 2007:

Old Bell
Current & Original Bell Design

You can see that the 2003 bell was much more rounded off. This takes away from the richer, more focused sound that Bach was known for. This is only one of many changes that Bach has made. Call me and I will be glad to personally help you with you Bach purchase.

All of our Bach Strad trumpets are from current production. We have found the current production Strads to be more consistent, more vibrant and better assembled then any Strad in the past 10 years! Bach is calling this new era of manufacturing "True Bach".

There are other options available on Bach Strads. If there is a specific setup that you are interested in, please call and talk to Dave Kessler. A true special order Bach would likely take about 4 months to get in.
