CL2000 Rotor System

Conn's CL2000 rotor design is exclusively found on the Conn 88H-CL series of trombones. This patented rotor represents the finest rotor system available today. Designed by world renowned trombonist Christian Lindberg, the CL2000 is sweeping the industry as the rotor of choice among musicians of all ages and walks of life.

The rotor's design allows for many improvements to the standard rotor. When the rotor is not activated, the air flow is not obstructed by the rotor. The air flow passes through without restriction.

The rotor only needs to travel 45° to fully activate making it more then 40% faster than conventional rotors. The air flow is also less restricted then in conventional rotors by design.

Because of the shorter travel time of the rotor, there is virtually no compression of air. This has eliminated the "Pop/Flop" effect caused by standard rotors.

The rotor's is only available in an Open Wrap. It has quickly become our best selling trombone both locally in our stores & across the globe through our website.

The 88H-CL trombone still has most of the options as the standard rotor 88H trombones. It is available in all 4 bell materials as well as the new 9" #98 rose brass bell (model 88HK-CL). There are also 5 optional slides that can be purchased separately or as a substitution to the standard slide.
