Antigua Winds
revolutionized the inexpensive soprano
market in 2003 with the release of their
590 (now the SS4290) design of soprano sax. This new
series of sopranos were copied from the
modern Yanagisawa sopranos, which are
considered by most to be the best
soprano sax in existence. The Antigua is
a fantastic soprano. We feel that they
are 85-90% the quality of horn of the
Yanagisawa, but for about 40% of the
price.
The SS3286 series is a
double neck (curved & straight) model
straight soprano featuring a high F# key.
