New Keilwerth SX90R "Shadow" Tenor Sax
JK3401-5B2-0

Retail: $9,450.00
Sale: $5,765.00

Price includes a complete professional setup in our Pro Sax Shop prior to shipping to ensure that the saxophone is
playing perfectly when you receive it! We also include a 1 year pads & adjustments warranty at no additional charge!

The Keilwerth SX90R tenor saxophone is a truly amazing horn. Handmade in Germany using old world craftsman styles, the SX90R is truly a handmade professional saxophone. The unique bore and key mechanisms are found exclusively on Keilwerth saxophones and offer the player a horn unlike any other. The bore of the SX90R gives tenor players the largest sound & presence availableon the market today!

This model is an SX90R design with the major change of the material used in the tube (neck, body, bow & bell) construction. Instead of brass, this model is made from solid nickel-silver. Nickel-silver is an alloy comprised of 60% copper, 20% nickel & 20% zinc (regular brass is 70% copper and 30% zinc). The name "nickel-silver" is due to the metal's appearance being lighter in color than nickel but not quite as light as silver.

The nickel-silver used on this design gives the horn a little brighter sound but also provides a more vibrant response. Many people find this horn to be more flexible for jazz, rock & pop style playing. The "Shadow" model has the tubing plated with black nickel and deluxe hand engraved. The keys are silver plated and equipped with black pearls and black pads.

What does our Professional Setup do for you the customer?

No horn comes into our shop from the manufacturers in perfect adjustment. In fact, the longer that the horns have sat in a storage facility or on a shops shelves, the more out of adjustment they typically are. This is due to the felt and leather in the pads losing the compression that forms the "pad seat" causing leaks of air through the pads.

Our Professional Setup prior to shipping is done to ensure that you receive a sax that plays perfectly right out of the box. This way you get the superior performance of the sax without having to have it "setup" by some other technician. As a professional shop, one of the biggest requirements falls on the repair abilities of the shop. Ours is one of the best around!

We have some of the lowest prices in the country on instruments, no other shop can give you this price AND this setup.

Kessler & Sons Music are Authorized Keilwerth Dealers. We do completely inspect and setup our instruments prior to shipping to ensure that they are perfect.
