After the huge success of our professional alto sax mouthpieces, the tenor sax mouthpiece was the next logical step. We took the "holy grail" tenor mouthpiece, a vintage Florida Otto Link metal 7 mouthpiece for our inspiration. We copied the facing of that legendary piece and applied it to our own intermediate 50/50 (50% hard rubber, 50% plastic) blank.

This mouthpiece features a straight-wall chamber design and a good roll over baffle. Both features make this mouthpiece very easy to play and control but without taking away from its large sound. This mouthpiece allows students to make an easier transition into playing styles such as Jazz, Fusion, Rock, Blues & Funk without having to completely re-learn their embouchure and breath support.

Powerful and rich, with great projection, we feel that the 50OL7 represents the best dollar per dollar value in mouthpieces available today. However, not everyone is alike so if you do try the 50OL7 and don't love it, send it back for a full refund or exchange. There are no "cleaning" or restocking fees as long as the mouthpiece is still in like new shape.
