pictures- February 7, 2008 - Sonare Winds announced that they are
discontinuing the SP-500 piccolo. This is largely due to recent quality control
problems from their key manufacturer in China. Sonare is planning on releasing a
newer version of the piccolo near the end of 2008 using a new Taiwanese
manufacturing partner. New new Taiwan/USA model will be a new model number and
will have a higher price.
