Standard features include gold springs, split-E mechanism, and the superior intonation inherent in the exclusive Burkart scale.

Launched in August, 2004, the Global piccolo has gained a strong reputation for reliability and stability. The Global Piccolo comes with the Burkart-Phelan Piccolo headjoint, in both wave and standard styles as well as a Metal headjoint.
