Using a slightly larger bore (.575") then other Selmer models (.571"), the Privilege offers a more open blow with less resistance. However, due to the Privilege's unique bore design, the clarinet still maintains a very rich and full tone similar to the Signature and Recital models, but keeps the clarity of tone and quickness of response of other .575" bore clarinets on the market.
