Recommended by music
teachers because of their easy response
and remarkable accuracy, these clarinets
help the musician to develop their musical
talent. The E13 is made from Grenadilla
wood. The bore (internal diameter) has
been specially designed to increase easy
response, flexibility and even performance
in all registers.
In comparison with the R13, the E13 is a more open blowing
instrument that produces a very rich and fuller open tone. The E13 is great for
the advancing student who wants a bigger tone than typical intermediate
clarinets but needs a more complex tone and professional caliber instrument. The
E13 is one of our favorite values in the clarinet market!
You will be charmed by the quality of sound projection and
the professional feel of this instrument. The high position bore means
resistance is lowered. This clarinet is extremely comfortable to play thanks to
its irreproachable keywork. In addition to being great value, the E13 has a top
of the range high quality finish in line with BUFFET CRAMPON.
We find the E13 to be an easy playing instrument regardless
of the player's skill level. Made in France. We do completely go over it here in
our shop prior to shipping to make sure that the clarinet is perfect.

Buffet Paris Barrel Upgrade
Additional Cost: $150
KesslerMusic E13 Upgrade Special: $100
Buffet France offers several
professional barrels. The 2 most popular are the Chadash and the
Moennig. Both feature a reverse taper bore. The Chadash is the more
popular of the two for classical clarinet playing. The Moennig is a
bigger initial bore which offers a more open response, but requires more
control from the player. Both models use Buffet's top quality Grenadilla
wood and are made in France.
We stock both the Moennig
and the Chadash barrels in a 66mm for the upgrade option.
With
this upgrade, you would still receive the stock barrel as well as the upgrade barrel. |
All clarinets
purchased from Kessler & Sons Music include a
complete professional setup as well as a 1 year
pads & adjustments warranty at no extra charge!
| What does our Professional Setup do for you
the customer? |
|
No clarinet comes into our shop from
the manufacturers in perfect adjustment. In fact, the longer that they have sat in a storage facility or on a shops shelves, the more out
of adjustment they typically are. This is due to the felt in
the pads losing the compression that forms the "pad seat" causing leaks
of air through the pads. With wood clarinets, the wood can shrink or
swell depending on the climate which can effect the fit of the joints as
well as cause keys to bind up.
Our Professional Setup prior to shipping is done to ensure that you receive a clarinet that plays perfectly right out of the box. This way you get the superior performance of the clarinet without having to have it "setup" by some other technician. As a professional shop, one of the biggest requirements falls on the repair abilities of the shop. Ours is one of the best around!
We have some of the lowest prices in
the country on instruments, no other shop can give you this price AND
this setup.
