Selmer Paris - Super Action 80 Serie III Models

Launched in the mid 1990's, the Serie III saxophones brought a more flexible and aggressive sax to the Selmer lineup. Designed with a lighter weight design, the Series III vibrates easier and responds quicker due to its mini-rib construction. The Series III also uses a special brass alloy that uses a slightly higher copper content to help keep a little bit richer tone.

Combined with a more focused bore design as well as a neck angle more similar to the Mark VI, the Series III is one of the more versatile saxes on the market. The Series III also has a large assortment of different necks available to help you dial in the sound that you want.

The Series III is also available in a Solid Silver model for Soprano, Alto & Tenor. The Sterling Silver models provide a very full, warm tone not found in any other sax.
