Selmer Paris Series III "Jubilee" Saxophones Soprano | Alto | Tenor | Baritone

The Series III was released in 1999 and was designed to be offered in addition to the Series II. This was the first time that Selmer intentionally release a model with the intent of making it a supplemental model rather than replacing a former model as has been the previous method of releasing a new model. The Series III features a tighter bore that gave better projection and response than the Series II and giving a brighter tone. The Series III also uses a lighter weight construction with Selmer's "mini-rib" (a.k.a "split-rib") design.

Revised in 2010 with the 125th "Jubilee" Anniversary of Selmer, the Series III is continued today with the "Jubilee" Series cosmetic enhancements. These changes replaced the original Series III configurations as of 2011.
