Concept TT | Concept TTM
Dave Kessler's
Description:
The Concept TT series trumpets were released in 2001 with
a revolutionary "Twin Tube" leadpipe design. Combined with the large
.4625" bore, over a 5" bell & a unique bell taper, the Concept TT
gives a performance that is unmatched in the trumpet world. The TT
models give an extremely sweet, rich and lush tone that is not harsh
or edgy. Behind the horn, you as a player also receive a great
amount of feedback from the large bell and bell flare.
In 2006, Selmer added on to the TT line with the "Concept TTM" which featured a nickel-silver outer tube in the Twin Tube design. This nickel-silver gives a little quicker response to the TT design while maintaining the tonal characteristics of the horn.
The TT and TTM models are the most popular of the Selmer Paris models when people try them in our store.
