our Professional Setup do for you the
customer? |

No horn comes into our shop from the
manufacturers in perfect adjustment. In
fact, the longer that the horns have sat
in a storage facility or on a shops
shelves, the more out of adjustment they
typically are. This is due to the felt
and leather in the pads loosing the
compression that forms the "pad seat"
causing leaks of air through the pads.
Keep in mind, that the Kookaburra
Standard models stopped production in
mid 2007 (our horns in stock were all
finished in April/May 2007). So many of
these horns need a good amount of
adjustment prior to shipping before they
play properly.
Our
Professional Setup prior to shipping
is done to ensure that you receive a
sax that plays perfectly right out
of the box. This way you get the
superior performance of the sax
without having to have it "setup" by
some other technician. As a
professional shop, one of the
biggest requirements falls on the
repair abilities of the shop. Ours
is one of the best around!
We have some
of the lowest prices in the country
on instruments, no other shop can
give you this price AND this setup.

The Selmer
Paris Serie III alto
saxophone uses a more focused
bore than the Serie II. It is
designed to give a focused and
centered tone while
maintaining maximum
flexibility and versatility
from it's lighter weight
"split rib" construction.
Of the 3
models of Selmer Paris altos,
the Serie III is found to be
the brighter of the models but
still holds true to the
focused tone inherently found
on Selmer Paris saxophones.
Range
from low Bb to high F#.
The Series
III can also be customized
further by a wide array of
Selmer Paris OEM necks.
Case, and
Selmer S80 C* mouthpiece
