Tone Booster This is our experimental Tone Booster. It is a custom machined and custom fit brass tube that gives a more Centered, "Selmer Style" tone and response to Kessler Custom altos and tenors (this is automatically provided on the bari saxes). Without the booster, the stock alto and tenor neck, the sax is more open and free, similar to a Yanagisawa. 
The Tone Booster is friction fit and can be easily taken out and put right back in by the player. It can also be a permanent add in and be soldered into the neck if a customer prefers. In theory, this can be added to any horn. Whether it is a Mark VI or Kessler Custom, this booster can be made to fit any horn. We recently made one of these for one of our own employee's Mark VI altos. He noticed that it stabilized the intonation on his horn noticeably so he didn't have to adjust as much while playing. To add a Kessler Custom "Tone Booster" to any Kessler Custom sax, the cost is $25.00. If you already have a Kessler Custom sax, we need to have your neck here to custom fit it to your horn so that it has a secure friction fit. To add a Kessler Custom "Tone Booster" to another sax, please call for pricing information, We will need your sax neck here to make the booster for it.
