Our New Red Brass Deluxe tenor sax uses a body alloy containing 85% copper (vs. the standard 70% of brass). The added copper changes the weight and acoustical properties of the saxophone. This helps the horn produce a richer and meatier sound. The new Red Brass models are only available in the Deluxe hand engraved models. We also only offer this in a clear lacquer coat so that the aesthetic of the Red Brass alloy slightly contrasting against the brass keys can be seen. It is truly a beautiful instrument. Standard, we include our Kessler Custom 50OL7 mouthpiece.
