Our Kessler Custom brand of instruments has gained a great reputation in the woodwind community due to the exceptional quality, value, price and service that they offer. So we have decided to expand our Kessler Custom line to include brass instruments as well. Our Kessler Custom flugel is truly an amazing value. The principle consideration for this horn was tone. A Resonant Bronze bell is featured on this flugel to add weight to the horn. Resonant Bronze is an alloy consisting of a high copper content (88% copper, 12% tin) giving the metal a slightly darker cosmetic color while also providing a very rich tone. The taper of the bell is designed to produce great projection and tonal response. We also have included a trigger for the 3rd valve tuning slide for added intonation control.
