Mouthpiece is THE MOST important piece of equipment for the saxophone player. Our Kessler Custom line of mouthpieces are designed for specific styles of performance and musicality. This model is our "ProBari". It is our premier mouthpiece for bari sax.

The mouthpiece is made from a high quality true hard rubber mouthpiece for that vintage lush tone!

Design Inspiration - Facing
We do not base our facing off any specific mouthpiece but rather use the inspiration of many vintage mouthpieces of the past. Equipped with a .110" tip opening, this mouthpiece plays and responds like a great tenor saxophone mouthpiece with easy subtoning and excellent response in all registers. Works exceptionally well with Synthetic reeds (we recommend Fibracell Medium) or the Rico Jazz Select reeds.

Ligature
We use a slim-line body design that allows you to use any good ligature designed for a hard rubber tenor sax mouthpiece.

We have made special arrangements with Rico to be able to provide their high performance "H-Ligature" (gold plate, with fitted cap) with this mouthpiece. In retail stores, this ligature and cap have a retail value of OVER $50 - but is included for FREE with our mouthpiece! This ligature is a modern design based on the vintage Harrison ligatures and offers excellent reed vibration while maintaining a good reed seal and a warm tone. This ligature is a GREAT improvement from standard ligatures giving longer reed life (from lack of center pressure on the reed) and a richer tone with greater presence to your sound.

In the end, this mouthpiece and ligature combination is a sure fire hit with any level of player and is guaranteed to impress!
