As a business, we have always searched for excellent quality instruments but were specifically concerned about playability, durability & value. Combine that philosophy with the need for a good low cost Eb Soprano Clarinet and the end result is the newest addition to the Kessler Custom family. This little Eb soprano clarinet plays well in tune and with a good overall tone. These are of course 2 things that are lacking in typical low cost Eb clarinets. We do recommend an upgrade to a better mouthpiece. Our general recommendation is the Vandoren 5RV Eb Clarinet Mouthpiece. With this clarinet, we sell it at $100 and it works very well as a combination.
